055: Mastering Energy Flow: Daily Rituals for Clarity and Productivity
It's not just about feeling good about yourself, but also about getting more things done.
Organization is key to starting your workday or day in general on the right foot. It's not just about feeling good about yourself, but also about getting more things done. While we often look for external factors to make us feel better, there are several simple practices we can incorporate into our daily routine to boost our productivity and well-being.
Some effective strategies include cleaning your desk, meditating, going for a walk, staying hydrated, journaling, and maintaining a to-do list. One particularly powerful method is implementing a daily review process at the end of each workday. This practice not only allows for reflection on the day's events but also helps set priorities for the following day.
Personally, I find this daily review to be a crucial part of my organizational system. It enables me to identify the top three priorities for the next day, setting me up for success. When I start my workday, I engage in my rituals - lighting a candle and incense, connecting with my higher essence.
Having completed my daily review the previous day, I know exactly what needs to be done, keeping me in a productive flow and preventing me from forgetting important tasks.
However, it's important to recognize that we can't always control or change our external circumstances. Often, unexpected events occur that are entirely out of our control, potentially throwing us off balance and hindering our ability to take action or maintain clarity in pursuing our goals.
In such situations, we can turn to our body as a powerful tool for organizing our energy. One technique involves sitting down, focusing on your body, and taking a few deep belly breaths to signal safety to your system. Then, move your hands around your body with the intention of organizing and gaining clarity. There's no right or wrong way to do this - simply move your hands as if you're bringing energy in or pushing it out, allowing your energy to flow naturally.
This practice can be particularly helpful when you're faced with circumstances beyond your control but still need to get things done. By returning to your center and moving your hands with the intention of clearing your energy, you can shift your state and move forward more effectively.
It's crucial to remember that while we're often conditioned to try and change external situations or people, true lasting change comes from within. If we're not willing to change internally, external shifts will only temporarily alleviate our struggles before something else throws us off balance again.
Life is about constant rebalancing, much like a pilot continuously adjusting to keep an airplane on course. If we rely solely on the external world to bring us back to center, we're setting ourselves up for failure. The real superpower lies in recognizing that we can control how we feel.
This isn't to say that negative emotions should be suppressed or avoided - they serve important purposes and are as necessary as positive emotions.
The invitation here is to consider the possibility that you have control over how you want to feel. When external events throw you off course, return to yourself, connect with your body, and engage in energy clearing practices. This approach can help you regain your balance and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

Spain, here I come!
I'm thrilled to share that this week, I'm flying to Barcelona and surroundings with eight friends from my school days. We're gathering to celebrate life, as most of us are turning 40 this year.
We've been planning this trip for almost three years, and it took a lot of effort and intention to set aside the time in advance to make it happen.
I am most looking forward to visiting Tossa de Mar, which is not far from Barcelona.
I am intentionally finding more ways to incorporate celebrations in my life, big celebrations like this trip but also small ones. there is nothing we can take for granted.
Who We Are Celebrating: Sonia Wilke
Sonia Wilke, my mom :)
I'm celebrating my mom for the second time here, and I truly admire her journey. She inspires me greatly. This past week, she participated in the largest book fair in Latin America. She has a vision and continues to move forward despite all the challenges of being a writer. I want to celebrate this significant accomplishment, but I also want to recognize her daily efforts and small choices that have brought her to where she is now. Her journey keeps getting better and better!
Here is What I Want to Share This Week:
Turning your workday Sacred!
I'm excited to share a video with you that explores the creation of a sacred ritual to begin your workday. This video offers insights on how to intentionally slow down and connect with a higher power, setting the stage for a more inspired and guided workflow.
