058: How to start your new business? Start with yourself.
What you need to embody to give birth to a great idea and to have the ability to follow through.
We often spend a lot of time thinking about what it is that we want to create next. What is the next big idea that will help us focus and finally start our new business we’ve been dying to create?
We look for inspiration, go on social media, observe what others are doing, journal for hours, join online communities, and ask our friends and family for their thoughts on certain topics. We start taking courses and enrolling in various workshops.
We even get super excited about all the possibilities. And then...
We get stuck in our heads and don't take any action.
Why?
We fear failure, and we block ourselves by thinking we need to be perfect, believing that where we are and what we have is not enough to start.
We have so many great ideas that we feel overwhelmed by them and can't pick one.
We have very little focus, and we listen to everybody but don't listen to ourselves.
We are unsure about the process and what embarking on this new journey will entail, leading us to sabotage ourselves by avoiding action or engaging in activities that do not significantly progress us forward on our goals.
We think we need more money, that we don't have all the resources. We research the market and see how competitive it is. We change our minds.
We listen to people who have never really tried anything, and we buy into their opinions of what a safe and good life is.
Years go by, and we are still here, living repetitive cycles of stagnation, waiting for the perfect moment, perfect idea, and perfect support that will never arrive.
How do we move away from this cycle and pattern into a creative and empowered state of action?
The answer is in the question itself! MOVE with intention.
Vitality is one of the frequencies that we work with in Sacred Business and through our Harmony Map Assessment; it means allowing life force to move freely in your body. It means that we have a perfect recipient to house our creative energy, and we move in life to find ways to express that.
Vitality is the combination of a healthy body and a healthy mind. It results in more stable emotions and supports your ability to take the love-led leap and have the courage to pursue your passion.
If you don't know where to start, start by taking care of yourself—body and mind! Begin with inner work. Move with intention.
This is a huge part of why we have embodied movement classes as a central theme within Sacred Growth Club.
Know that moving the physical body is actually moving energy. That's why it feels so good and refreshing to go for a walk.
Instead of chasing the perfect idea to start your business, think in terms of what you need to embody to be someone who gives birth to a great idea and has the ability to follow through.
Confidence is a big one. Every time you go to the gym, set the intention to embody confidence, listen to a nice song, and do the exercises with confidence, feel it.
Authenticity is another one. Every time you go for a walk, walk as someone who feels good in their own skin, create the memory of feeling authentic in your body.
And even if you don't have a clear vision yet, how would you feel if you had one?
Bring that to your mat.
Do your yoga, Pilates, boxing, or dance classes feeling clarity in your body.
As you cultivate those feelings and choose to embody new ways of being, you become the perfect vessel to receive your new idea. You begin creating from the inside out.
Stop waiting.
Out of self-love and deep appreciation for yourself, do yourself a favor: choose to take the first step today in the direction of what excites you, and then move consistently toward your goals.
Your path will become clear after you start moving, not before. Embrace the journey with courage and enthusiasm, knowing that each step brings you closer to the life you've envisioned.
With love,
Carolina

Happenings
Pause and Reevaluate
I am intentionally creating more space for envisioning and dreaming about what I want to experience.
I have been so busy with my daily life, managing two kids, growing a business, and relocating to Brazil, that it hit me hard in the last few days how I was operating on autopilot, holding onto structures that once served me but are now hindering my creative process.
I feel that time is flying sometimes, and events that happened three months ago seem like they occurred less than a month ago. That was an alarm to pause, breathe, and reevaluate.
I realized my current reality has evolved significantly from what it was 10 months ago, and I never really had the chance to realign where I am going and the structures I have in place right now.
Life is changing at a very fast pace, and moments of reflection and pause are more important than ever. Don't get stuck in the rush of doing things without really seeing if you are actually clear about where you are heading.
The small changes I've made to my schedule have been huge in terms of creating peace of mind and space for creativity.
Don't wait for your New Year's resolution to pause, breathe, and reevaluate. Creative energy is flowing in abundance; if you don't choose to create something new, you will get stuck in the cycle of recreating your past in slightly different versions of it.
Who We Are Celebrating
Brian Pruett
I'm celebrating Brian Pruett @brian_pruett and his amazing work. He is my coach on Ladder with Team Vitality, and it's changing my relationship with lifting weights and going to the gym.
The way he guides you is closely connected to what I believe is important: intention and self-love.
I use his teachings and guidance, along with my own knowledge, to build more muscle and take care of my body temple, allowing more of my essence to flow. The energy circulating in muscles is different from the energy circulating in fat.
Vitality is key for a fulfilled life and for how you show up for yourself and others. Vitality feeds creativity and self-esteem. If you don't feel good about yourself and your body, it will be very hard to feel good about your life.
