083: What If You're Wrong?
The liberation of questioning your truths
Being happy and in flow with life is more important than being right, even though that's not exactly what our brain likes the most.
We really like the feeling of "I am right, I know this," but when we close a sentence, when we decide that "this is what it is," we actually miss a lot of opportunities in life and in business.
Let me share my own story. I started having headaches when I was very little, probably around five years old according to my mom. I don't really remember myself without headaches for quite some time because that carried throughout my whole life.
But I remember around 2016, I questioned: "I know I wasn't born like this."
For years I had managed to live in that shitty situation because I had a belief that "I have headaches and that's just who I am."
I would take medication, feel relief, and when I didn't feel relief, I needed to go into a dark room. That was all.
But when I started deeply questioning—"I was not born like this, this is not possible"—then things started appearing in my life.
I'm not going into that story here, but if you read our manifesto, you'll know that I healed myself.
The beginning of my healing process was when I started questioning my own beliefs.
There was a way of functioning in life that was carrying that headache with me, and there was also a belief that I wasn't really questioning. I was just taking for granted that "I have headaches, that's just who I am."
I never really questioned that until I did—and then everything changed.
This experience taught me the power of questioning what we accept as truth.
This week was a great reminder to question life more and I am extending this invitation to you here.
I was watching this awesome podcast with
, where he was interviewing this super intelligent and wise woman Dr. Stephanie Venn-Watson. She was talking about research with dolphins and fatty 15. She explained how this is a mind blowing discovery that will support longevity. For years we've been told that saturated fatty acids aren't good for our health, so we should avoid butter and animal fats.
But it turns out that C15 is a saturated fatty acid that's actually essential for health and longevity, and it's present in butter. The research shows there are different types of saturated fatty acids, and they don't all affect our bodies the same way. C15 specifically seems to be one thing that changes everything in your longevity.
Science keeps questioning, and we should keep questioning life because what serves us right now based on our level of understanding and technology might not be true in the future, especially now that things are moving so fast.
In one year from now, everything could change.
So why would we not?
If we just keep living our lives based on old lenses or old perspectives or old beliefs, we are missing out big time—not only in your health as I shared, but in every aspect of your life.
This questioning mindset isn't just powerful for personal growth—it's essential for business evolution too.
If you think about business, there are so many cool examples. Look at Netflix and how they evolved. They were doing something in a set way, and then they questioned, "does it still make sense to rent DVDs?" As they saw technology and life evolving, they needed to question what they were doing and why they were doing the things they were doing.
This allowed them to move forward in a more powerful way.
Whereas if you think about Blockbuster, they probably did not question if what they were doing was actually serving their customers, if there was a better way of doing things, a better way to serve their clients. And what happened? They were just out of the market. They broke.
We often live life on auto-pilot, doing stuff thinking that "that's just the way it is."
And this is just not true.
Even something as seemingly fixed as how addresses work can be totally different in other parts of the world. We need to learn to not take anything for granted or absolutely true.
I recently came across a very short TED Talk by Derek Sivers, and he asks, "Is it weird or just different?" He explains how addresses are organized in the US—you have the street and then the street number—and here in Brazil, it's exactly the same. So you think, "that's just the way it is," right?
But then he brings the example of Japan, where they don't have street names. They actually have block names, and the number is by the order where the house is built. For you or me, this would make no sense. But it makes perfect sense in another part of the world.
When you go to places like Costa Rica, it's very confusing (for me) because the numbers don't go in order. They have directions like, "this address is 200 meters east from the cemetery" or "500 meters north from the gas station." I lived there for almost three years, and to this day, I find it confusing—but it serves them.
My point here is, always question. There are different ways to do same thing that could serve you better.
This openness to questioning isn't just about being curious—it can be truly transformative when applied to the areas of life where we feel stuck. If you don't stop to question the things you're doing and why, you might not be able to move forward.
And it's not about "is this true or not?" but "is this serving you?"
If you have a health condition, if your business is not doing well, if you're not making enough money to support a cool lifestyle that allows you to go on adventures and buy the things you want—instead of just fighting against it and doing more and thinking there's something wrong with you—just pause and question your beliefs.
Does your belief around money support abundance? Does your belief around how long healing takes support your healing?
We've been preconditioned to believe, for example, that if you have a certain condition it needs to last years. But I've seen what looks like magic or miracles—people recovering very quickly from stage four cancer.
If you get diagnosed with a certain condition, they will tell you based on statistics that "if you have this condition in this stage, you have this much time to live" or "it's very rare that you're going to heal." But there's so much more available.
Energy healing is right there. We are tapping into quantum leaps, people transforming their lives overnight because energy does not work the same way that matter works.
What's most important to understand is that growth requires this kind of questioning.
If you “withdraw” from your own life for a moment and observe what you're doing and what other people are doing—especially people who have what you want—maybe it's time for you to question how and why you're doing things the way you are doing and the beliefs behind them.
It's liberating.
It's necessary because maybe a belief that took you where you are, a way of relating to life that brought you to this point, will not take you where you want to go.
Everything is connected. Everything is energy. You are energy.
Maybe you're trying to expand and grow your business in a way you've never experienced before. I'm watching very closely people taking our assessments, and the one thing people say is "I want to take my business to the next level."
This implies that you need to also have next-level thinking.
You can't keep thinking the way you are and expect to upgrade your whole life experience.
Life is built from inside out. Questioning your beliefs is the first step.
I know this can be scary because sometimes you think, "this was so right for me for so many years." You were almost full of yourself and proud of your knowledge or certifications. But now maybe you've discovered something else, and it's necessary for you to let go of what you were doing before to step into something new.
That's the whole process of "dying" in this lifetime—the cycle of life and death. You die to be reborn into something new.
The process of becoming the person who has a next-level business, who impacts millions of people, or who creates whatever impact you want to make, involves a mindset shift.
This is your ability to connect with your essence and what is present for you now.
When you question your beliefs, you bring all your energy to the present moment instead of insisting in seeing the present through the lenses of the past.
It requires intentionality. It requires connecting with the things that matter to you more than the need or pride of being right.
With Love,
Carolina

Reverse Assumption Exercise
There's a cool exercise for questioning your beliefs called the "reverse assumption exercise," and it's seriously powerful.
Basically, you choose a list of beliefs that might be holding you back, and then you deliberately argue the opposite position with equal conviction.
This does magic to your brain. It helps you release this sense of certainty and the need to be right, knowing that both extremes can co-exist. And then the real question becomes not "what is true?" but "what serves you now?"
Those are just some ideas for you:
"I need years of experience to charge premium rates" → What if your fresh perspective is actually worth more because you haven't been conditioned by industry norms?
"I need to be available 24/7 to succeed in my business" → What if creating boundaries and scarcity actually makes clients value your time more and increases your energy to deliver better work?
"My market is too saturated to stand out" → What if the saturation is actually proof of demand, and your unique energy is exactly what some people are desperately searching for?
"I'm too spiritual to focus on making money" → What if your spiritual gifts are meant to be financially abundant so you can help more people and make a bigger impact?
"I need to have everything figured out before I launch" → What if the magic happens in the messy middle, and your best ideas will only come after you start?
"I should follow what successful people in my field are doing" → What if the biggest opportunities are hiding in the approaches nobody else is brave enough to try?
"My trauma and struggles are holding me back" → What if your deepest wounds are actually the source of your most powerful gifts and the exact medicine others need?
"I need to grow my audience before I can succeed" → What if serving just five people with your whole heart could create more transformation and word-of-mouth momentum than reaching thousands superficially?
"I need to be consistent and stick to one thing" → What if your seemingly scattered interests are actually preparing you for an innovative integration nobody else can offer?
"I need more certifications or credentials to be taken seriously" → What if your life experience and intuitive wisdom are actually more valuable than any formal training?
You can create your own questions!
Especially focus on areas where you're struggling to make progress. Even when you say, "Oh, this is not for me," yet deep inside you have that desire... what if this IS really for you?
This exercise takes you out of your comfort zone and helps you update your relationship to life. It allows you to start looking at things with fresh eyes instead of that old grumpy "I know that already" vibe.
If your current beliefs about yourself, your business, or what's possible aren't serving you... LET THEM GO.
