Metal cooled is hardened
From fire's magic touch
Releasing strength and beauty
And traits we value much
It emerges in an instance
Though time and effort spent
Bringing forth a power
Whose goal will not relent
Fire must be tempered
Lest it leap its bounds
To be controlled with purpose
So not to scorch the ground
But when properly channeled
Despite the pain and strife
Our world will now be different
For fire gives us life
By Robert Longley
Where is your fire? Your passion, your deep desire to live life?
Where is that feeling that makes the past and future disappear?
Where is that feeling that makes you desire to stay forever?
Where is the burning flame that makes you feel invincible?
That makes you feel there is no difference between you and life?
Couple of weeks ago I decided I needed to bring more fire into my life, intentionally and simply.
Why do we lose touch with the heat once we get accustomed to certain things?
Why do we get so used to the warm, that we create this block to not feel the cold and the hot?
Why do we numb life to the point we don't even remember what we did once the day is over, so far we were with our minds from reality?
The biggest gift we have. We forget.
It's normal to cook, to be with people you love, to go to the gym, to go to work, to be at your house.
Until it's not.
Until you get sick, and can't go to the gym or cook for yourself anymore.
It's normal to be with people you love, until you lose them.
Where is your passion, appreciation and excitement for what is?
Since when do you take life for granted? Today could be your last day!
And you wasted it, choosing what is safe, choosing to not go on an adventure, choosing to not share your gifts, choosing to not say "I love you" to the people you love, choosing to eat your last meal without even savoring the deliciousness that it is.
Yeah... I could be taking this topic to the edge, but until when will you accept to live a day without being in love with life?
Without recognizing you are lucky because you exist and you came forward to participate in this universe's expansion?
It has been truly a gift for me to go back to coloring and feel like a child choosing colorful pencils for my next coloring. It has been a gift to slow down and decide to cook again, not because I need it, but because I like it. And in this cooking, feel the fire transform my ingredients into delicious meals.
This fire energy should not be present in the thing you do once a year, the excitement of going on vacation.
It should be present in the things you do everyday, in the magic of a slow exhalation, in the magic of seeing how a flower can grow in the middle of a concrete sidewalk.
Once you feel that everyday, you don't get burnt.
Instead, you fall in love with yourself and life.
You learn to focus on the things that matter to you, you choose to slow down to appreciate and use this fire as guidance, staying warm no longer serves.
Did you know that humans have been dancing with fire for over 400,000 years?
Not just for warmth or cooking, but for ceremony and celebration. From the ancient fire-jumping rituals that purify the soul, to the burning of worries in in festivalsāwe've always known that fire transforms more than just matter.
It transforms us.
I sometimes wonder if our ancestors felt more alive than we do now. They couldn't scroll mindlessly through phones while waiting for water to boil. They had to watch the flames, tend them, respect them. Each fire was a relationship, not a convenience.
Maybe what we're really missing isn't just passionāit's presence. The kind that makes you notice how your breath catches when you step outside on a crisp morning. The kind that has you laughing inappropriately loud at a friend's terrible joke. The kind that makes you forget to check the time because you're so absorbed in kneading bread dough or watching birds argue over seeds.
Have you ever noticed how excitement and fear feel almost identical in your body? The racing heart, the butterflies, the heightened awareness. Our bodies don't always know the differenceāit's our minds that label the sensation.
What if that fear you feel before trying something new is actually excitement in disguise?
What if that voice saying "I'm terrified" is actually whispering "I'm alive"?
The things that spark our deepest fires often lie just on the other side of that thin veil between fear and excitement. Sometimes all it takes is renaming the feeling.
Not "I'm afraid to start," but "I'm excited to begin."
Ferdinand Foch shared that "The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire." If you live in your fire, you transform your world and the ones around you.
Maya Angelou said, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Her life definitely embodied this fire, leaving words behind that keep igniting others.
People living in their fire didn't wait for passion to find them, didn't choose the easy warm path.
Instead, they decided to choose their fire everyday, in the small things but also in how they serve. Fire doesn't take pain away, doesn't make your life easy, it actually burns you sometimes, but the sense of aliveness and love for life is priceless.
I love Rumi when he wrote: "Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames." And be the fan for other people's fire as well.
This reigniting isn't just for our personal lives. Our businesses, projects, and creative endeavors deserve that same blazing energy.
When we approach our work with fire, it transforms from obligation to creation.
Right now, Phil and I are absolutely on fire creating our next challenge.
Being fed from our fires within, we're creating something beautiful that I intend will spark that fire in many othersāpeople who decide they can't live without their inner flames anymore.
There's something magical about collaborating with someone whose passion matches your own. The ideas flow faster, the obstacles seem smaller, and the vision grows bigger than either of us could imagine alone. Thank youPhil Powis ā¤ļøā”ļø for that :)
What would change in your business if you reconnected with the original spark that started it all? What if instead of checking boxes and meeting deadlines, you were feeding a flame? The clients can feel the difference. The market can feel the difference.
And most importantly, you can feel the difference.
Remember, we aren't meant to burn at full intensity at all timesāeven the most powerful fires have rhythms. The secret isn't constant heat but regular tending. A life of passion isn't found in grand gestures but in the accumulated warmth of intentional moments.
I'll leave you with this thought: Fire doesn't ask permission to transform what it touches. Neither should you.
But here's the beautiful thing about fireāit spreads. You can't help but warm those around you when you're burning bright. I started coloring a couple of weeks ago and connected deeply with my daughter who fell in love with what I'm creating.
She feels inspired to color alongside me now. My little one doesn't hold backāhe uses his fingers to color, bringing joy and excitement to our small gathering.
My little cousin, an innate artist, even created a course to teach me and my daughter her coloring techniques. I get lost in art supply stores now, looking at colorful pencils and papers, as moments like these fill my heart with overwhelming joy.
So this week, I challenge you: Find one tiny match to strike. Maybe it's dancing badly while you brush your teeth. Maybe it's writing one terrible poem. Maybe it's telling someone how much they mean to you without waiting for a special occasion. Maybe is fully appreciating your coffee in the morning.
Whatever it is, let it burn. And then tell me about itāreply to this email with your small fire. I want to hear what lights you up. Because sometimes, all we need to keep our own flames dancing is to witness someone else's glow.
With love and excitement,
Carolina

Writers Collective
We are very proud and happy that the first issue of our Writers Collective is coming out on April 30th - it's incredibly inspiring!
If you don't know what it is yet, the Writers Collective is a monthly publication featuring insights, strategies, and wisdom from purpose-driven business owners who are walking their talk. This collaborative project highlights voices from within our community.
Each month we explore a relevant topic, which in April is "Abundance." The topic is examined by different people with diverse perspectives, bringing richness and inspiration to feed our own minds.
It's fascinating to see how one topic can have so many layers and interpretations, just like life itself :) one thing is never the same for two people.
If you're curious about it and looking for meaningful, purposeful writing to inspire you, you might want to check this out. Our next topic is "Divine Connection," and I can't wait to see what brilliant minds will share about this theme.
Here is what I want to share this week ā¦
Collapse Time: Transform Your Business in One Sacred Day in Paradise
Have you ever noticed how your best ideas come when you're not trying so hard? When you step away from the screen, take a breath, and simply allow yourself to be?
This is what I've been exploring deeply lately - how slowing down actually speeds everything up. It's a beautiful paradox - the more present we are in our bodies, the clearer our minds become and the faster transformation happens.
I call this "collapsing time" - accomplishing in one day what might take months in the usual fragmented approach.
This July, Phil and I will be on a breathtaking private island off Colombia's coast for a private mastermind event. The white sand beaches and crystal waters of Hotel Isla Mucura create the perfect environment for this kind of deep, transformative work.
We've decided to extend our stay to offer ONE entrepreneur a rare opportunity:
A full-day VIP intensive that will completely transform your business vision.
When you understand yourself as the energy being you are, you realize business growth doesn't need to unfold in linear time. Through specific embodiment practices and strategic clarity, we can help you experience what I call a "quantum leap" in your business.
Your day includes:
Transformative embodiment practices with me to align your energy
Strategic planning with Phil to map your business evolution
A completely customized Sacred Business 12-month roadmap
Quarterly follow-up calls to maintain momentum
Full Sacred Growth Club membership for 12 months to support your ongoing progress
I've seen firsthand how stepping away from busyness into intentional presence creates the perfect conditions for breakthroughs. When your body, mind, and business are in harmony, everything flows.
This experience is for someone ready to blend strategy with soul in a setting where magic happens naturally.
Curious? Reply with "Island VIP" and we'll share the details.
With love and prosperity, Carolina
P.S. The island's limited connectivity is actually perfect for this work - our deepest insights often come when we disconnect from technology and reconnect with our bodies and inner wisdom.
