The part about engineers breaking down is the most important thing in this piece.
I've been saying this for months: the excuse is gone. For years, people could hide behind "I don't have the technical skills" or "I need to learn to code first." Now you can build almost anything in a weekend. The question that remains is brutal in its simplicity — what do you actually want to create?
Most people don't have an answer because they never had to develop taste. They were too busy acquiring skills that are now commoditized.
And the "Go All In" myth — I'm glad this is in here. The hustle culture narrative has destroyed more careers than it's built. I see people quit stable jobs with no audience, no proof of concept, no financial runway. Then they wonder why they're panicking three months later, posting desperate content that reeks of need. Build the plane while you're still getting a paycheck. The leap comes after you have evidence.
One thing I'd push back on: I don't keep my personal brand "impersonal" as a strategy. I just don't think my backstory is relevant to what I teach. When you're learning how to use AI effectively, you don't need to know about my childhood or my music label at 18. You need clarity. The moment creators start centering themselves instead of the value they provide, they lose the plot.
The grandmother story is an exception. That one matters. Because it shows what this technology is actually for — not productivity theater, but recovering something human that was lost.
The thing I enjoy most about AI is how much fun it can be, and how much we actually get to do we never thought would be possible. Thanks for the discussion, I learnt so much today. I'm definitely going to try building my taste file. 🩷🦩
it was a real honor to have you @Ruben Hassid. I was delighted when you said yes. Thanks so much for being generous with your time. It's likely another part of your success being modeled for anyone that is watching.
You are pretty much the embodiment of AI and FUN @AI Meets Girlboss. So glad you were able to come hang with us. Maybe we should see about getting you on the show???
Thanks Phil 🩷 That’s very much the point. Often AI fails smart people because they quit too early. If fun is the Trojan horse that gets them to stay long enough to get good results, I’m very happy to smuggle it in.🦩
yeah @Filip Sardi 🌊 also speaks to the importance of working the notes system I shared earlier this past week :) And I really appreciated that Ruben in his last post shared his paid conversion numbers openly - to see that at such scale - made me feel good about where we are sitting right now with the Network!

Also: noted on the show 👀
hit me in the DM's if you have a genuine interest (no pressure). We'd love to have you and get you set up.
Will do! Thanks Phil!
still owe you a reply @AI Meets Girlboss. I'm adding it to my list, your DM got buried sorry about that but really want to make this happen.
Fun is so important! I liked the taste file idea too
✋
Interesting how with even 240k subs, I discovered Ruben today via Sacred Stories.
Really enjoyed this down to earth conversation, and question that stayed: where do we go from here now that you can build anything in a weekend?
Never thought I'd be witnessing such a tectonic shift in my life.

I love that it’s called “Sacred,” because everything we do comes from energy— and energy is very sacred. Beautiful title 🤍
Thank you ❤️ For me business is a Sacred Act!
me too!
yes @Jasmine Clemente we see business as a co-creation with the universe!
