Funny that a month ago, I decided to build a kind of 4 cornerstones for me concerning learning from substack, more about …from whom would I learn from?? And I came across ‘slow ai ‘ as one of them. The way how he presented his paid tier and the regular consistency of live sessions. Now after a month of following more in his live-streamings, the last of my 4 cornerstones is clear. I want to start the real work . Thanks for this article. It makes me feel that I’m on the right track.
I resonate a lot with this. Especially setting up a coaching business. I’d want to do everything for free. I’ve learned that paying for services is a form of investment, and the people who do show up, do the work, and get more out of what I can provide.
I just planned to listen to this casually with my Saturday morning coffee. By the end of the interview, I had adjusted my monthly pricing strategy, updated my free subscriber welcome email, and told myself at least five times that we should chat more often, Sam.
That was not the low-effort coffee companion I signed up for. 😂
Sending you much love and appreciation for your existence. 🩷🦩
Yay! And always happy to chat Pinkie! So happy it was useful in some way. The pricing structure was a HUGE game changer for me. Hope it works for you too. 🙏
You have come recommended by @Josh Woll and @Dr Sam Illingworth and I am so excited to be here. :) I loved your live chat and cannot wait to dig in more as well. Thanks for all that you do!
He definitely is! I caught one of your monday lives together this past monday. I think it was on the musk/anthropic arrangement. really interesting stuff~
Dr Illingworth, Carolina, Phil - thank you for this. I'll be honest I thought to myself, as I'm doing my monthly billing, (yes, the worst part of my day job), now is listening to a professor wax poetic, I'm sorry I couldn't resist, about AI going to be more painful than my billing?
Well, actually not whatsoever, interestingly and thankfully enough! So thank you to the three of you. What a great way this has been to help me along with my struggles. Always good to keep an open and curious mind a bit wider open.
Given the overarching model, theme, community - something in that ballpark, Dr Illingworth you mentioned you are a spiritual person and try to go with the universe....yes, putting some words in your mouth - so my apologies upfront. But my question - do you have one or two good reads on the subjectmatter that does it for you in this area??? - this area being spirituality not AI. However, if a third might be offered I'd take a book on AI in the age of spirituality. And that sounds like a good next venture for you really ;)
All my best to the 3 of you - well worth my time! And what is that worth to you? :)
