The Most Transforming Relationship You’ll Ever Have: Time
How clarity, alignment, and soul-led business collapse timelines.
One of the greatest transformations a person can have is their relationship with time.
I’m not sure if you’ve ever stopped to really think about that.
What is your relationship with time?
What is time, anyway?
We have this device that measures time and tells us a day has 24 hours.
We hear people say, “We all have the same time available,” yet some people accomplish so much while others barely get one thing done.
Why is that?
Neuroscience says we don’t perceive time… we generate it.
Time is produced inside the brain.
It’s emotional.
It’s physiological.
It’s a perceptual phenomenon.
One of my teachers once said, “We create time when we fear something,” and that hit me.
Because here’s what I understood:
When we fear creating something, or taking the steps we know are necessary, we create time, meaning, we create a gap between what already exists energetically and its physical manifestation.
Fear collapses your inner clarity.
You feel the nudge.
You’ve researched the idea for years.
You know the old way is no longer working for you.
But then you start questioning everything in front of you, creating time… or really, creating delay… to avoid facing your fear.
You stay protected where you are.
Time isn’t “out there.”
It lives inside of you.
Think about it:
When you are anxious, time speeds up. But when you are depressed, time slows down and when you are present, time disappears.
So what is time?
Stephen Covey has a saying I love:
“The key is not to prioritize your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.”
Because time is not a container… time is a rhythm.
For me, time is how long it takes for you to catch up to your soul.
This is why, when we talk about the 25-year vision in our Sacred Rituals Planning Challenge, we’re not really talking about 25 years.
We’re talking about alignment.
I’m not talking about time as minutes… I’m talking about time as momentum.
Why 25 years?
Because it’s long enough to break the linear idea of time you have in your mind. It allows you to enter dream state. Think about it: 25 years is enough to go back to school, move from kindergarten to university again, and come out with a new diploma.
The point is not the years.
The point is that it breaks the barriers of your current reality and allows you to tap into your heart, to feel what your soul has in store for you, something stuckness, frustration, and dissatisfaction block you from accessing now when you don’t know how to move from where you are to where you want to go.
Time is not about hours; time is about direction.
When you know where you’re going, “time” organizes around you.
When you don’t, time dissolves into fear.
Everything above explains why your relationship with time feels the way it does.
What comes next is how we actually collapse it.
Since the beginning of Sacred Business Flow, we have applied exactly what we teach… and we have literally collapsed time.
Why?
Because we work with energetic alignment in conjunction with strategy.
Your fear of visibility?
Your pattern of not getting enough clients?
Working a business that drains your joy?
All of that creates time.
All of that expands the gap between where you are and what you want.
A new business requires a new relationship with time.
Your old business runs on old rhythms, old clarity, old identity.
Your new business requires a new time… a new pace… a new orientation.
That’s why, when you pair transformation with business growth, you collapse time.
Not because it’s magic, but because when you change the internal pattern, the external timeline has no choice but to reorganize.
We often talk about the work “under the water,” the work nobody sees.
It takes courage to pause and ask yourself what you truly want… not what your family wants for you, not what your partner wants for you.
You.
If you knew you wouldn’t fail, and you had 25 years to create something extraordinary… what would that be?
But wait — finding the vision is only the beginning.
Now you need to show up.
The magic is learning to feel that vision in your body and translate it into daily actions… and having a tribe, a group, a community that helps you remember where you’re going, that helps you remember the light within you.
Because there is a lot of darkness out there.
And if you’re not regularly reminded that you are light, and your business is guiding you back to it, you will look around, identify with the darkness, and fall into your old patterns.
We fear the light and as Marianne Williamson writes:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
Until the day we stop blocking our own light.
And when that day comes, discovering our power becomes the most beautiful path we could ever walk.
With Love,
Carolina
