The Radical Act of Trusting the World Will Keep Spinning
We’re honoring a sacred pause — 7 days of stillness, presence, and divine spaciousness. Here's why it matters more than ever.
Tomorrow morning, Carolina and I are boarding a plane to Colombia for an extraordinary mastermind experience. We'll be mostly offline for the next week — no regular emails, no community calls, and (gasp) far fewer notes here on Substack.
Just presence, connection, and deep conversations with other entrepreneurs who understand that building a business is as much about inner transformation as it is about outer strategy.
Lately, I’ve been drawn to the ancient wisdom of Sabbath — a sacred rhythm rooted in spiritual law and timeless truth.
For thousands of years, entire cultures have set aside one day each week to simply stop. Not because they were lazy or unproductive, but because they understood something sacred: rest is not the opposite of work — it’s what makes meaningful, soul-aligned work possible.
The Hebrew word "Sabbath" literally means "to cease." To stop the doing and simply be.
I'll be honest — this doesn't come naturally to me. My default mode is constant creation, constant output. But I’m learning - slowly and imperfectly - that the quality of what we create is directly connected to the quality of our inner state when we create it.
Everything is connected - within us, around us, and beyond us.
The entrepreneurs who sustain long-term impact understand that stepping away isn't stepping back. It's stepping into the sacred spaciousness where clarity, guidance, and inspired ideas are revealed.
So we're treating this Colombia experience as an extended Sabbath. 7 days of slowing down, listening deeply, and allowing ourselves to be refreshed and re-centered in what truly matters.
Yes, you'll still receive some pre-scheduled emails about our Growth Club (because the Creation Sprint starts July 17th and we’re genuinely excited about it).
But everything else goes quiet.
When we return, we’ll have stories to share and fresh energy for the work that matters most.
But right now, we're practicing the radical act of trust — that life continues in perfect order even without our constant input.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is nothing at all — simply rest in being.
See you on the other side,
Phil & Carolina
P.S. If you’ve never experimented with your own version of Sabbath — even just a few hours of complete disconnection - I highly recommend it. Your nervous system (and your soul) will thank you.
Speaking of inner state and outer results...
This Colombia sabbath has me thinking about how we entrepreneurs often push through exhaustion, thinking more action will solve our business challenges. But what if the breakthrough you're seeking requires rest, not more hustle?
The same patterns that prevent us from taking sabbath often show up as business blocks.
If you struggle to step away from constant creation (like I do), you might also struggle with sustainable energy management in your business. If trusting that "life continues without your constant input" feels impossible, you might also have difficulty trusting your business decisions without needing guarantees.
Everything really is connected.
Your Harmony Map Assessment reveals which of the 9 Frequencies are seeking balance in your life and business. Maybe it's Vitality - learning to work with your natural energy rhythms instead of against them. Maybe it's Faith - developing trust in the invisible forces supporting your journey. Or Bliss - reconnecting with the joy and meaning that originally called you to this work.
Understanding your patterns is the first step to transforming them.
Why not take a few minutes to discover which frequencies are calling for your attention?

When you understand which inner patterns are creating your outer business reality, you can design your own version of sacred rhythm - whether that's daily practices, weekly sabbaths, or monthly retreats.
Your business will thank you. Your soul will thank you.
