The Silent Suffering of Playing It Safe
Finding true safety beyond society's standards
How many more years are you willing to trade authentic fulfillment for the illusion of safety?
We have been conditioned to believe that safety comes from stable careers, financial security, predictable outcomes, and socially approved life choices.
We're taught from childhood that the responsible path is the one that minimizes risk and maximizes material security.
And nothing about that is wrong. I know many people with careers that light them up, having material things is what is very important for them.
Or at least that's what they can see for themselves, and that's alright.
But for some of us, this doesn't feel enough anymore.
You can't really explain why.
You think you're crazy, that there is probably something missing in you, as many would love to have the life you do. And the more you try to find explanations, the less you understand what is going on?!
Playing safe maybe makes you "feel good" as you are in conformity to what is expected from you, but true fulfillment doesn't come from that space.
The pain of playing it safe manifests as a quiet emptiness that's difficult to articulate.
It's been beautiful to witness and share space with our members, and as we pause together to reflect, we can identify many patterns in how we all play safe in different ways.
Whether it's for the safety of family, adherence to societal standards, or out of our own fear of the unknown, we recognize that there is always more to this game. And not really because we aren't content, but because we embrace life and desire our businesses to be a reflection of what truly matters to us.
Divine connection is our monthly theme. From our embodiment classes to our network connection, we are inviting our group to reflect, to pause, to breathe, and to remember we are all connected to more than what we can see.
Through your desires and dreams, there is an energetic reality for you that you can feel, but you can't see it yet. The more you try to silence this feeling, the louder it gets. This is your connection with your higher self, with your essence.
When you start feeling this connection more strongly, the idea of safety taught by our society no longer serves you. The safety attached to the outer world is just not enough.
You start craving innovation, adventure, a chance to exercise your birthright as a creator.
The fear of the unknown begins to feel less threatening than the certainty of remaining disconnected from your essence.
There is so much suffering coming from disconnection, and you don't want your business or a project that you wish to manifest to be another source of that pain.
The more you pause to recognize that this connection exists, and you allow that to be real for you, the less you need to play safe on society's terms.
You understand that true safety comes from your connectivity with life.
If you lose your job, your house, your money—you are still you.
You will discover an even more powerful and stronger version of yourself. If you built a house once, got a job and made money, you can do that again. And if you do that from a place of connection, it will be an even more fun and fulfilling experience.
A real sense of safety comes from knowing you have inner guidance and trusting yourself to follow it. It comes from having a purpose. It comes from allowing life to flow through you rather than attempting to control every outcome.
If you realize you're playing safe on terms established by others and not your own, this is the first step. And wait—there is nothing for you to do right now. You just need to let this truth sink in.

There is so much to be explored, to be lived, to be enjoyed. Divine connection is who you are, and who you are is on the other side of playing safe!
