Why being "real" about your struggles might be repelling the clients you're meant to serve
"I'm being completely authentic in my marketing, but nothing's landing. I'm showing up as myself, so why isn't it working?"

We live in a world that tells us "just be yourself" is the answer to everything. Show up authentically. Speak your truth. Let people see the real you.
But which version of you are we talking about?

Here's what I've noticed: When someone speaks from their wounds, their struggles, their "I've been there too" stories, they often think they're being authentic. And they are - to their past. But when they speak from the place of who they've become, from the transformation they've experienced, from the highest vision of what's possible... that's when everything changes.
This distinction matters because everything is connected. The "you" that shows up in your business is the same "you" that shows up everywhere else. And if that version is still operating from fragmented patterns, your results will reflect that fragmentation.
The Energetic Signature of Your Message
Let me be clear about something: This isn't about denying vulnerability or pretending you never struggle. It's not about putting on a fake positive mask or hiding where you've come from.
It's about the energetic signature of how you hold yourself.
You can share your story of addiction, loss, or failure from two very different frequencies. One carries the energy of "I'm still drowning and maybe you can relate." The other carries the energy of "I've walked through the fire and I can show you the way."

I spent years trying to fix my business by fixing my strategy. New funnels. Better copy. Different offers.
But here's what I discovered after my own health crisis forced me to look deeper: You can't polish old patterns and call it transformation.
Real change - the kind that creates sustainable success - happens at the frequency level. It's about regeneration, not renovation.
Think of it this way: Your business challenges aren't actually business challenges. They're invitations to evolve into who you're meant to become.
When you're writing copy from your old frequency - from the struggle, the pain, the "I get it because I'm still in it" place - you attract people who resonate with being stuck. But when you write from your highest frequency, from the place of transformation and possibility, you attract people ready to transform.

The other? It leads to a business that's an authentic expression of your highest self. A business that serves as a vehicle for your evolution, not just your bank account.
