Ever notice how your mind jumps straight to "I need more experience" or "I need to know more" before feeling confident?
Today's class revealed something different about confidence - it starts in the body, not the mind.
As Carolina shared:
"Your confidence doesn't come from knowing everything or knowing what's going to happen. It comes from allowing yourself to be you."
The highlight?
The "weird walk" practice - where we intentionally moved in unusual ways to break our patterns of self-consciousness.
Why?
Because true confidence isn't about performance or expertise - it's about feeling safe being exactly who you are.
Through gentle movement and energy work, we:
Released the need to "know everything"
Connected to our innate wisdom
Built confidence from being rather than doing
Found joy in simply being ourselves
My favorite moment: watching everyone discover their own unique "weird walk" and seeing the genuine smiles that emerged when we dropped our need to look "right."
The physical practice included:
Grounding exercises
Hip opening movements
Heart-opening poses
Energy centering techniques
One participant shared:
"When I've been most confident, I've been very present in my body. You can tell yourself a bunch of things, but if it's too cerebral, you just don't believe it."
Watch the replay (59 mins) to experience how it feels to build confidence from the inside out - no expertise required, just you being wonderfully you
