I witnessed something cool in a coaching call yesterday that I had to share with you.
It was one of those moments when you see the exact instant everything shifts for someone. Not because of some brilliant strategy I offered, but because they started asking different questions.
There's a quote I heard once:
"The questions which one asks oneself begin, at last, to illuminate the world, and become one's key to the experience of others."
Here's what happened...
Instead of asking "How do I get more clients?", they began exploring "How can I serve this one client so deeply that they become my advocate?"
Instead of "How do I stand out?", they wondered "Where am I already naturally resonating?"
Instead of "How do I reach everyone?", they asked "Who specifically needs exactly what I do best?"
The energy in our conversation transformed. Suddenly, possibilities that were there all along became blindingly obvious.
This is what we mean when we talk about Sacred Business. It's not just about strategy. It's about seeing the connections that were always there.
Here's what I've learned about breakthrough moments in business:
They rarely come from pushing harder in all directions. They almost always come from slowing down enough to ask better questions. They never arrive through force, but through alignment.
The most powerful questions aren't about tactics or techniques. They're about essence:
"What would this look like if it were easy?"
"Who am I uniquely positioned to serve?"
"What opportunities am I missing because I'm too busy looking elsewhere?"
"Where am I already experiencing flow?"
When you shift from "How do I get more?" to "How can I serve deeper?", everything changes.
Your conversations become richer because you're genuinely curious.
Your solutions become more impactful because they're naturally aligned.
Your relationships deepen because you're truly present to what matters.
Your energy expands because you're working with the current, not against it.
I've seen this pattern repeat many times in my work with entrepreneurs.
The ones who breakthrough aren't necessarily working harder or knowing more.
They're simply asking better questions.
They're the ones who pause long enough to wonder:
What if my next level of success is already right in front of me?
What if my challenges aren't obstacles but invitations to see differently?
What if the path forward is through deeper presence rather than more action?
Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come not from doing more, but from seeing what's already there more clearly. From recognizing that everything - everything - is connected.
Your business isn't separate from your spiritual journey.
Your challenges aren't separate from your opportunities.
Your questions aren't separate from your answers.
Today, I'm curious:
What questions are you asking about your business?
What might change if you asked different ones? What possibilities might open up if you paused long enough to really listen to the answers?
The answers that will transform your business are often hiding in plain sight.
Sometimes we just need to pause long enough to ask the questions that will reveal them.
With Love,
Phil
P.S. If you're ready to ask deeper questions about your business, I invite you to take our free Harmony Map Assessment. It's designed to help you see the connections between you, your business, and something greater than both. It might just help you discover the questions you haven't been asking yet.
Love this line... "Your challenges aren't separate from your opportunities." Great post, thank you!
