I guess you can tell how passionate I am about this idea of Sacred Business. If you can't, let me tell you:
I LOVE what I do—deeply. This is way more than a business for me; it is a way of living that serves a life truly worth living.
But guess what?
Sacred Business is not my life purpose.
And, at the same time, it is serving it tremendously.
Sacred Business wasn't born the day Phil and I decided to combine our strengths and launch it. For me, it was conceived many years ago when I made the decision to live a life that excites me, choosing to create consciously rather than living aimlessly.
When I made that decision, my life didn't change overnight, but I realized I was on a one-way path forward. I understood I couldn't settle for anything less than fulfillment, and to stay on this journey, I needed to release my expectations of how everything should happen.
This was the start of me intentionally shaping my life.
I don't believe you can have an amazing life if you're stuck in a job or business you dislike. Work consumes a significant portion of our time and energy, and it should be something enjoyable.
We are naturally wired to serve, so whatever you do must have meaning to you by serving and helping others, regardless of the activity. I'm not suggesting that owning a business is the solution, but working on something that excites you is essential.
The more I connect with people worldwide, the clearer it becomes that many confuse life purpose with building a heart-centered business. This confusion brings resistance and fear of failure, leading to overthinking and no action.
As a result, the business's outcome overshadows the journey. People mistakenly believe that their business is their life purpose, identifying themselves as the doer they strive to disassociate from.
What if we could focus more on being rather than doing, and understand that we are fulfilling our life purpose as we progress?
The purpose is to evolve, to embody your essence, and to start making choices that make sense and bring joy to you.
Every business is sacred, but not every business owner sees it that way.
Every single business serves your evolution if you allow it; otherwise, you can be stuck in a never-ending cycle of chasing money.
Your business, projects, desires, and dreams are merely the "excuse" for you to embark on the journey of creating with intention. They serve as the north for your GPS, guiding you to awaken to the magical being that you are.
You can't fail at this.
The only real failure is not trying.
Stop making excuses and start creating something enjoyable.
Challenges will always exist, but it's better to face them with intention and enthusiasm for what you're building rather than dealing with obstacles in something you dislike.
When we understand that our purpose is to evolve, we suddenly become free to try, fail, try again, change directions, and keep moving forward.
Some powerful questions to help you to expand and start taking the reins of your life.
What is next for my evolution?
What makes my heart expand?
What would I do if time and money were not an issue?
Experiment by asking these questions from time to time.
Your evolution is your purpose, and let it be guided by what fills your heart and excites you. You are living your purpose whether you like what you do or not, and as we evolve, we understand we have a choice. Life is not meant to be a struggle, but rather an experience of joy and grace.
With Love,
Carolina
Happenings
I am thrilled to share that we are close to released V2 of the Harmony Map.
We put a lot of effort and love into the first version we created, but as we evolve, our ability to serve evolves too.
We realized we can offer much more in terms of insights and tools to help you work on your energy and alignment to achieve your goals and create your version of a sacred business.
I believe the Harmony Map is a constant work in progress, that only gets better and better :).
Stay tuned for V2—it's going to be pretty awesome!
Who We Are Celebrating
Jacqueline (MamaJ) Hollows
I've been reading Jacqueline’s writing, and it resonates with my views on life.
I felt really inspired when she shared her goal during a community call to offer daily meditation sessions live on Substack for a month.
To me, this exemplifies someone dedicated to something bigger than herself, embodying the fundamental frequency of discipline, alongside consistency and joy.
If you want to follow her work, you can check out her newsletter here:
I love seeing people doing amazing things and sharing their unique gifts and voices.
The world needs you as you are.
Share more, give more, live more, and laugh more.
Great work, Jacqueline!
Here is what I want to share this week …
Yay for Substack!
If you're ready to dive into social media, Substack is where the magic happens!
I used to have mixed feelings about social media, but Substack has turned that around for me.
Unlike the fast-paced world of Instagram, Substack offers a more meaningful, laid-back experience that truly reflects the kind of connections I want to nurture.
Why not give it a try?
I've found myself sharing more freely and getting excited about what others are creating too. And as a reminder, do whatever you want to do as an act of self-love.
Detach from the reactions of others, and have fun!
