This is a very interesting take. Something I can see myself in lately. Because I am so anti guru I push against it so hard that I dont want people to think im special in anyway. Which is broadcasting my own belief that Im not special, its the tool or method that is special.

I see you Nikki! I am anti guru as well, but what we bring into the world is unique to us and learn how to honor that is sacred! the method is special, but without you, it wouldn't reach the people you can reach... it's a balance! But the fragmentation I felt in my work, was only healed when I made myself part of it. and it keeps evolving as we learn more tools, as we evolve as humans... but I have in my mind, I am part of the equation too... and yes, it's not about me :) paradoxical

It's sort of like going into yourself then making multiple connections whether internally or externally.

Love this insight and realization. Would love to hear more about your personsl journey in life - I 'm thinking of why you wrote yourself out. What in your childhood made you discount yourself? And how it felt, you felt, feel now. I'm all about exploring the feelings. Your feelings count too! 😊🩷✊

Thank you for your kind comment, Debra!

I think I had understood from my spiritual learnings that me being part of the equation was an ego thing, and I thought the ego was something I needed to eliminate in order to really serve God. So by making it about me, I was creating an even bigger distance between me and my own wholeness.

It didn’t work! Actually, the distance grew bigger the feeling of something missing was always there. And this gap was only filled when I understood that my journey, and who I am, was important too.

And I am in the middle of this journey … not sure if there’s ever an end. It’s paradoxical too: at the same time that it’s not about me at all, it is about me too. And that’s the energy I keep trying to embody.
