This is so, so good. Thoughts on just one part of it...
I've seen some "AI Police" since the Pangram integration, from bigger names / publications on here. I can't help but think: Why? What's the point? Not of the screening (it's useful info) but of the policing.
There are deeper questions.
AI is an equalizer and puts power into peoples' hands with writing (and everything else) who didn't have it before. One of our clients from way back wrote a brilliant post over on Facebook pointing that out - specifically re: marginalized humans / communities / writers. It struck me so much that I immediately swore off bitching about em-dashes. 😆
Entrepreneurship is a magical tool. AI is a magical tool, among so many other things. The key to mastery is, well, mastery: discernment and how you use the tools you have.
Beautifully written, Phil. I especially appreciated your distinction between using AI as a tool and protecting the parts of ourselves that create real human connection. The reminder to measure relationships instead of just numbers is one I’ll be carrying with me. Thank you for this.
Amazing and insightful article. Thanks for keeping it real and human. I can see how connection is really getting lost more and more as technology, not only advances but is taking over. This made me reflect on my own strategies and how honest connection needs to become more of a priority.
I’ve become so comfortable in my own energy that it’s not something that is top of mind. But now it is! So thank you for that.
Thanks for the mention...we get sucked into believing success is bigger and faster when it's moving toward a personal and intentional goal. That's where connecting with people matters because we become a web of influence for each other
I especially appreciate the part about "weak ties". Those familiar low-stakes interactions that build us into a social fabric. Didn't know that was a field of research back to 1973!
To me it connects with the issue of limbic resonance. That measurable emotional-biochemical-electromagnetic resonance that happens when people give each other positive attention.
It wires us into the super-organism and nourishes us in deep ways.
This is so, so good. Thoughts on just one part of it...
